The February Scam Watch – Option FM, Ubinary, Tradorax

Monthly Scam Watch, Second for 2016 – February Complaint Report

A new year is here and we begin it with the February scam watch. Last year we received a lot of complaints from you guys, hope this year we will see less scam, but by the looks of it, scammers are still hard at work. See last year’s winners of the Scam Watch!

First complaint is against a radio station, Option FM… or is that a binary options broker?

Look Rob, I am sorry for your loss, but… WHY? Why did you invest that huge amount when in the beginning all you wanted to invest was 250 bucks? The first rule of investing – of common sense really – is “Don’t invest more than you can afford to lose” . I don’t want to sound condescending, but it’s high time people started to care for their money. You say the company was negligent in assigning that Steve Silver guy (by the way, can you not see this is a fake name???) to your account. And I say: no they weren’t. They knew exactly what they were doing. That was their plan all along.

Here’s how a good complaint should look like

This is a perfect example of how Binary Options Managed Accounts work and the risks involved. 15% guaranteed profit each month? Wow, better than the biggest bank in the world, better than most hedge funds. I wouldn’t believe it for a second but hey, some apparently do. Anyway, good for you that you reported them. Hope the authorities can help you.

FA suck

Ubinary was a regular on our Scam Watch in 2015 and seems this year is not different

SO they managed to infect your computer, phone, tablet and steal money from your bank account? This is serious stuff so I believe you should go to the Police and possibly other authority that can help you. Also I recommend gathering as much evidence as possible before going to the authorities and accusing them.

Ozze scam

Next we have Tradorax. These guys are pretty new to the Scam Watch, in fact I believe it’s their first time

“…if these guys can make 10% per week they wouldn’t be trading for me, they’d be living in the Bahamas on their 100 million dollar yacht…” Yea dude, I keep saying the same thing but people don’t seem to hear me and instead they keep pouring money into the brokers’ pockets. Well, at least with these guy you can communicate (I see they are active in our Comments section); what can I say, it’s better than nothing but I hope you get your money back because words can’t buy you food.

Inside Option – not really my first choice when it comes to SpotOption brokers

Have you been scammed by them? Or just received bad service? If you have money to recuperate from them it will be hard considering the owning company is now dissolved according to the Anguilla Commercial Registry. Anyway, these are the perils of dealing with an unregulated company.

Henri scam

Imperial Options – The options of the Emperor? Or the options traded at the royal court? The Empire Strikes Back? Anyway it’s stupid.

What robot? Give more info. They offered you a trading robot? Or maybe a 3rd party that works in collaboration with them? Who, what…? As for the other info you provided – thank you! We knew all of that and we keep writing about if for ages. Now you know it too but it probably cost money because you didn’t take our word for it.

Ubinary again??

You ask how can the public be made aware of such companies. Well, we keep warning and warning against these exact tactics: brokers make you invest and then trade the account into the ground, withdrawals are impossible, etc. But people don’t listen, can’t be bothered to read because they are blinded by the promises. Eventually all clients who get scammed become aware. One way or the other… one is free, the other very expensive.

The story of: OptionMint, Spearmint And A Little Bonus

When you say you have 7K in your account, does that include the 3K bonus they gave you? Because if the answer is Yes, then surely you don’t expect them to give you the 3K as a gift (I assume the turnover hasn’t been reached and you are not entitled to the bonus). A word of advice: next time when someone asks you for 250 bucks and says they’ll make you a million in 3 to 6 months, laugh in their face and walk away.

Kevin Keller suck

Finpari is located in…

BUSTED! Haha nice catch Victor. After seeing your comment, I contacted their live support and they gave me the same postcode. Unfortunately most brokers hide their real location… I wonder why. Beware and don’t invest with companies that lie about their location (for obvious reasons). PS: Don’t scream at us. It takes some time to check every user comment, that’s why it is not displayed instantly, but as you can see, if it’s not spam it is displayed eventually.

Titantrade makes a comeback appearance

So you don’t want to deposit but you still enter your credit card. Hmm, what can I say. Contact your bank and have your card blocked/cancelled. Ask them what to do. Do you have a password on your card? If not then anyone who knows the number can withdraw? Put a password on it. Talk to your bank!

May scam
