ABInvesting Review

by Martin Kay

Editor’s Note: Why ABInvesting Doesn’t Suck in 50 Words

The broker offers very competitive trading conditions, in a regulated environment, which boosted its appeal among active traders in a very short time. The main attraction is the low spread that starts at 0.7 pips (floating, EUR/USD), and let me tell you, that is outstanding because the spread eats directly into your profits and is paid on each individual trade. Having a low spread means that more money remains in your pocket and that definitely doesn’t suck!

Why ABInvesting Sucks in 50 Words

The lowest account you can open at ABInvesting requires a minimum deposit of $250. Now, you might wonder why that sucks, so let me explain: a total beginner will consider this minimum deposit too big and will look for a broker with lower requirements. But actually, depositing a smaller sum may be more detrimental than depositing $250 or higher because if you have, let’s say 50 bucks and just a few trades go against you, the account will be kaput. On the other hand, a higher deposit will allow you to recover from a bit of drawdown without getting a margin call. So, while at first glance 250 seems high, it’s not. And besides, profitable trading cannot be done with peanuts.

Is ABInvesting A Scam?

There’s absolutely nothing pointing towards ABInvesting being a scam. There are no red flags, no horror stories from the clients, no pushy tactics, or account managers that pressure you into depositing thousands of dollars, and on top of that, ABInvesting is a regulated broker. Regulation is a key element and you should always look to trade with brokers that are supervised by a financial watchdog.

Bearing in mind that ABInvesting is regulated by the Mauritius Financial Services Commission (FSC) and has a good reputation among traders, we recommend this broker and consider it a legitimate partner for your trading endeavour.

Should I Open An Account With ABInvesting?

ABInvesting is a new and regulated CFD broker headquartered in Mauritius, which offers access to over 350 assets from all the popular classes such as stocks, indices, FX, cryptocurrencies, and more. The broker is owned and operated by Hub Investments Ltd., a company regulated by the Mauritius Financial Services Commission (FSC).

The broker was launched in 2021, but it seems to know what traders need and want, starting with a modern website, transparency, easy to access information, continuing with a great platform choice and top notch trading conditions, and topping it all off with solid regulation. Speaking of the trading platforms, ABInvesting offers Meta Trader 4, a WebTrader, and a mobile platform for Android and iOS.

Meta Trader 4 is widely recognized as one of the best charting packages in the industry, used by more than 70% of traders. Its appeal comes from the vast customization features and from the possibility to use Expert Advisors, custom technical indicators and advanced order types. However, all this can come at a cost because a lot of traders don’t actually need all the features provided by MT4. For those traders, a more practical choice is ABInvesting’s WebTrader, which brings more simplicity, as well as the ability to log in from any desktop device with an internet connection.

For traders who are always on the go, ABInvesting offers a mobile app, which has a lower number of features than WebTrader or MT4, but has the great advantage of being with you at all times. This way you can do your technical analysis on one of the other two platforms and monitor the trades (or even open/close them) while waiting in line at the carwash or while having coffee with a friend.

ABInvesting offers three types of trading accounts: Silver, Gold, and Platinum. The last two accounts will get you a swap discount of 25% for the Gold and 50% for Platinum, as well as other advantages such as lower spreads, higher leverage, and 5th decimal for increased accuracy. For training purposes, ABInvesting offers a Demo account and Sharia-abiding clients can use the Islamic account which is also available.

Education consists of e-books, trading videos, a comprehensive collection of trading articles, and a series of courses that can be very useful for beginners and medium-level traders. More advanced traders can use the economic calendar to stay up to date with the latest releases, and the earnings reports calendar if stock trading is their thing.

Overall, ABInvesting offers a good mix of functionality and user-friendliness, with all the necessary features for a great trading experience. But all this wouldn’t mean much without regulation and good trading conditions. Fortunately, ABInvesting is a regulated broker, with great trading conditions: good leverage, low spreads, low fees, and some of the best platforms in the business. It is our opinion that you won’t be disappointed by this broker, thus we definitely recommend you to check it out.

Hub Investments Ltd. lists the address Sixth Floor, Tower 1, Nexteracom Building, Ebene, Mauritius. The broker can be contacted at phone +441214682461 and email [email protected].

ABInvesting Complaints

The broker was launched in 2021 and thus far we couldn’t locate any major user complaints. Actually, the general opinion regarding ABInvesting is very positive, with users rating them 4.7 out of 5 stars on Trustpilot. We are constantly monitoring for any complaints on social media and trading forums, so we will update this section if anything changes. If you’ve had any experience with this broker, feel free to share it in our Comments section below this review.

ABInvesting Regulatory Warnings and Announcements

The Mauritius Financial Services Commission (FSC) did not issue any warnings or fines against ABInvesting. The same applies to any other financial regulator thus far, but we will amend this section if something pops up on our radar.

ABInvesting Withdrawal

ABInvesting offers a wide range of withdrawal methods including credit/debit cards, wire transfers, Skrill, Neteller, VPAY, and possibly more, depending on the client’s location. The processing time is very short: the request will be processed during the same business day if it is received in the morning. The minimum sum is only 50 account units.

ABInvesting Extras

Traders can use signals provided by SignalCentre, readily available right on the WebTrader platform, which adds extra usefulness. Apart from these signals, traders can check the economic calendar, follow a market news feed, and other analytics that are also available on the platform itself.

ABInvesting Ratings

User-Friendliness 16/20

All the basic information is easily accessible, on a well-structured website, translated into 8 languages. The platform choice benefits all types of traders (beginner, medium, and advanced), and a Demo account is available for testing and training purposes. Mobile apps are also available but US clients are not accepted.

Range of Markets, Spreads and Leverage 18/20

ABInvesting has a huge selection of assets, with over 350 tradable pairs, stocks, indices, commodities, cryptocurrencies, and more. The leverage goes up to 1:500 for currencies but is lower for the other asset classes. Spreads are excellent, starting at 0.7 pips for EUR/USD (floating spread, can change according to market conditions).

Deposits and Withdrawals 18/20

The methods are credit/debit cards, wires, Skrill, Neteller, VPAY, and more, depending on the client’s location. The minimum deposit is $250, which is reasonable and the minimum withdrawal is only 50 account units. The processing time is as fast as the same business day.

Fees and Support 17/20

ABInvesting doesn’t charge a fee to open an account, which is normal for the industry, but the client will have to pay an inactivity fee that comes into effect after 60 days without a deposit or a trade. All you have to do to avoid this fee is to open at least a trade every two months, which shouldn’t be a problem. Support is available via live chat, email, and phone.

Extras 17/20

The broker offers a nice package of extra features that includes signals from SignalCentre, market analytics, economic news, and an economic calendar, all available on the trading platform, so there’s no need for the client to access third party sources.
